This weekend flew by! How about yours?
We hosted friends for dinner on Friday night and I created a colorful and delicious cheese plate. The best part? It was so easy to make! It only took 5 minutes to throw together.
Im sharing the 4 main ingredients to create a similar spread and some tips to make it look picture perfect!
Start with the cheese in the middle…..
Add a few crackers on the sides…..
….. a little more cheese….
…salami and HONEYCOMB!
And just little more cheese… (3 types of cheese is MORE than enough for any cheese platter)…
Then fill in the the gaps with fruit! You could also use nuts 🙂
And VOILA!
Ready to party 🙂
Shopping list:
Cheese
We used 3 different kinds. Three is a good variety in my book for a cheese plate. No need to over do it with options.
Fruit
I used pomegranates (which are great antioxidants too!), strawberries and blueberries. All which were in our fridge already. Adding any type of fruit and filling in the spaces are sure to make a colorful plate.
Honeycomb
This is like the icing on the cake when it comes to cheese plates. Honeycomb is delicious and you don’t see it everywhere. Such a sweet treat!
From the Butcher
We also added some spicy salami which we probably eat too often in our house. Prosciutto is a great meat to add to cheese plates too!
Taylor enjoyed it just as much as our guests 🙂 I could not keep her hands out of most of these pictures!!
Happy Summer and happy entertaining!
Looks beautiful! Feel free to replicate at our next family event ????.
I sure will!! It was seriously SO easy to make and I’ve been craving it ever since! I’m sure you will see this again soon 🙂
Love the step by step tutorial. So helpful. Thanks for sharing this deliciousness!
