Kitchen updates are always a good idea in my book. Switching out your counter stools is a quick + easy way to give your kitchen a little refresh!
I’ve had quite a few requests for more recommendations since my last post on our little kitchen update. Since many have asked, here’s a round up of some favorite stylish kitchen counter stools ~
We’ll be working on a couple home projects this weekend that I’m excited about. On this list is planning out the girls shared room (eek!), tackling toys in the play room, photographing a few DIY projects and a couple sponsored posts (including one with Target ~ which is like a dream come true!).
I’m off to the doctor now for a check up and glucose test (29 weeks pregnant with our 4th baby already!). This is my second glucose test in a month so hoping today goes well. This pregnancy has been flying by but not without a couple small hiccups. Anyone else glad it’s Friday?
I’ve also had a few requests for paint color recommendations lately. I hope to get to that soon but curious, are you guys still a fan of greige (beige/gray) paint colors? This post on mixing greige and beige in the kitchen has been very popular on Pinterest still and I’ve had a few have message for my list of favorite greige paint colors.
I thought that trend was dying out but maybe I am wrong!

You can customize the fabric on these stools with a different color or pattern. Many of the standard options are high performance fabric. These are from Serena & Lily (beautiful but a little pricy!). PS. I secret way to score expensive pieces for less (my friend found her S&L chairs this way for a fraction of the retail cost!)
These were a close second on my list for our kitchen! I think when the kids get a little older and it’s time for a change, these will make an appearance. You can get them reupholstered with performance fabric and they go with just about any style kitchen.
Gray and white Stools – Under $200!
Wood + Woven Counter Stools (ON SALE)
Can you tell I like the woven style? 😉 I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of this in interior designs.
Here are the stools we went with for our kitchen. The details on the back are what sold me on them! I haven’t seen anything else quite as pretty and unique.

… and here are the backless stools that we bought for the ends of our island. LOVE them too, especially the pattern on the seat. Details + link: HERE.
