Sip & See Party ~ Hello Harper!

When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade

When For Your Party reached out to me months ago about collaborating for a party idea, I was thrilled! Harper was born just a couple weeks ago and I’ve always wanted to have a Sip & See celebration. The personalized decor options that For Your Party offers was the perfect touch for this party.

Also, they are hosting a competition on instagram between 3 tablescapes. I would LOVE if you took a second to VOTE for me!! (I’m #2). Here’s the direct link to the post to vote 😉

One voter will be winning $250 towards For Your Party!

For Taylor, our first daughter, we had a baby shower. Our second, Kinzie, we had a little “Sprinkle”. So what do you do for your third baby??

A Sip and See! We have most of the baby necessities and since everyone wants to meet the baby, this is a great idea for a gathering. Plus sip and sees are usually a much more relaxed setting than a shower (which is great if you’re guests consist of a lot of kiddos!).

On the Menu

We kept the “menu” pretty simple and stuck to desserts and fruit. Adult and kid friendly beverage options are included too.

  • Sparkling Lemonade with a splash of Lemon and Elderflower Soda (found at Trader Joes)
  • Champagne
  • Macaroons
  • Fruit cups with mint sprigs
  • Lemon and Lavender cookies (recipe from Joanna Gaines’s new cookbook, Magnolia Table. Highly recommend!)

On the table, we also put Harper’s baby book out asking guests to write a little note to Harper. We had done something similar for Taylor and Kinzie’s celebrations and it’s so fun to look back and remember who was there and read their wishes for our kids.

The goodies!

I love customizing and personalizing items so this was a dream to be able to do with For Your Party.

I also appreciate the little details when it comes to throwing a party so this was perfect. I selected some items that I know would get a lot of use (cups, napkins) and some items that could be used in a variety of places (ie: tags, labels).

  • Elegant Wreath napkins
  • 9 oz. cups with both sides personalized
  • Straws and straw tags
  • Scalloped coasters (these may have been my favorite thing!)
  • Scalloped labels
  • Tassel banner
  • Fancy Letter banner
  • Oh, Baby! Balloons

It was easy to design each piece on their website by changing graphics, font and colors. Plus, the graphic design team at For Your Party is super helpful in case you have any questions. I couldn’t decide on a couple things and they graciously guided me over the phone (thank you!).

Friends and family, I do want to note that this was a staged tablescape and we have yet to set a date for the real Sip & See.

Scheduling has not seemed to be in our favor lately but we can’t wait for everyone to meet our little Harper!

Don’t forget to vote HERE (I’m #2!!!). One voter will be winning $250 towards For Your Party too!

Thank you!!!!

I voted for you! I would love to know where your marble platters are from and also that gold mirror? 😻

Thank you for the vote! The marble platter is from Homegoods and the gold mirror was from a flea market sale. I wish I had links to share! 🙂
