Our Trip to Cape Coral

We absolutely loved our visit to the Westin Cape Coral and are excited to share some of the highlights! I was hoping to write this last month before Spring Break, but I figured better late than never ~ This was definitely a “pinch me” kind of trip.

The Marriott reached out to me last fall to partner with them, which was like a dream come true. The luxury of vacationing as part of a job is not lost on me. Eric and I decided to take just Danny with us for the trip (the girls have another special trip planned). Plus, at this age, it is difficult for anyone to keep up with the energy he brings to our everyday life!

We flew into Fort Meyers, FL and stayed at the Westin Cape Coral (one of the Marriott resorts), only a short drive away. February in Chicago can be so brutal, which made a warm, sunny getaway even sweeter.

It was fun to hear that some of my friends on social media are headed there for spring break too! Here are a few of our favorite things from our stay ~

✨ Daily morning Yoga on the lawn

✨ Complimentary boat dolphin tours twice a day🛥️🐬 (Danny’s favorite!)

✨ Healthy meal options + grab-and-go breakfast at Nauti Mermaid and Marker 52 (I had the Florida salad every day!)

✨ Visits to the @esterraspasalon. Greeted with mimosas and cupcakes each visit made it even better (: I highly recommend the serenity package, which includes a facial, massage and pedicure 🧖‍♀️

✨ Lots of pool time 💙

✨ Shopping at The Marina Village Shops

✨ Bike rentals and golf cart rides 🚲⛳️

✨ the Florida sunrises and sunsets are favorites. Waking up to the sunrise from our room on the 18th floor was the best ~

✨ This was a feature not everyone would love, but as a mom, having a washing machine and dryer in our guest suite was a nice surprise! I came home with everything clean, making unpacking a breeze.

And lastly, the people at the resort were absolutely amazing throughout our stay. I think this makes the biggest difference when traveling. Everyone from our hostesses to the front desk was so helpful and kind.

Here are links to a couple of video highlight reels and photo collage below 🙂

Thank you again to the Westin Cape Coral for hosting us! We are so appreciative and can not wait to visit again. As we are heading into a new season, I am feeling incredibly grateful for opportunities like this, and for my readers (so THANK YOU for being here!). Also, thank you to my mother in law for taking good care of the girls 🙂
