Thanksgiving is just around the corner ~ and I’m happy to share a tablescape I put together a little early this year in partnership with MacKenzie-Childs. We have been lucky enough to have beautiful weather lately so I took advantage and set everything up outdoors. It will likely be our last outdoor meal in our backyard for awhile as snow is already in the forecast for next week!
You may be familiar with MacKenzie-Childs already and I was thrilled when they invited me to collaborate. It’s a brand that reminds me of traveling, as I see their pieces often in small “Mom-and-pop” type shops. They are also sold at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and directly on their website, which is the easiest to browse.
Mackenzie-Childs, as you may know, is famous for their signature Courtly Checks black and white checkerboard pattern and whimsical style pieces. While I love this about them, I was also excited to see how the brand has expanded their collections to include more versatile pieces too to fit many styles. They have beautiful and fun floral pumpkins, a rustic style branch candle holder and more.
I was most excited about the stunning serving dishes, with a hand-applied gold luster band and the Courtly Check pattern surrounding them. The golden turkey though is my favorite! I think my kids were just as excited when these arrived at our house. My 5 year old asked how I won it since she thought it was a trophy hah! I think it makes the perfect centerpiece to any Thanksgiving table.
Here’s a peek at our Thanksgiving Tablescape featuring MacKenzie-Childs pieces ~
The Soho Serving platter and Soho Serving Bowl are two favorite pieces. I also love the candle sticks with the fishnet pattern.
The serving bowl and platter are made of porcelain. Each piece varies slightly as they are handcrafted using wax, gold lustre and the Courtly CheckĀ® transfers. The texture and pattern are beautiful and I am so glad to add this to my collection.
One of the best parts about Thanksgiving dinner is sharing family recipes, and setting the table for family and friends if you are hosting and spending time with the people you love. I know these Mackenzie-Childs pieces will become heirlooms and I hope they come out every Thanksgiving season for years to come. Thank you MacKenzie-Childs for the collaboration and beautiful pieces!
And THANK YOU to my readers for stopping by to see my tablescape this year. Below are details and sources to many of the items shown in today’s post. As always, if you have any questions about anything please feel free to ask ~
Have a happy Thanksgiving all!
