Our lighting is updated! And we are officially halfway through the One Room Challenge 🎉
Our foyer, which you can see from the balcony of our upstairs landing, is about 20′ in height, so replacing the light fixture was not the easiest task.. But we finally do it! We had our electrician install this stunning beaded chandelier that has a coastal style, casts beautiful light and gorgeous shadows on the walls.
There is also a flush mount ceiling light in the landing (see in pic below) that we used to have a standard light with a glass shade. We also replaced this one with a light fixture I fell in love with after seeing it all over Instagram and in interior design magazines. You may recognize it since it has been so popular ~ It’s called the Broche light and now comes in white! It’s available in gold and silver as well, and I will link all these below 🙂
I love how the combo looks together! Both lights are from Crystorama Lighting, a favorite source of mine for quality lighting. I’ll link them below, along with some photos. The beaded chandelier is called the Silas and comes in two sizes. I was torn between which to choose and ended up ordering the 6 light because it was available for quick ship (at the time). I also love the larger 8-light and hope to find a place to use it soon ~ And in case you missed it, here are the updates posted so far from the One Room Challenge (we are officially halfway through!)

And here’s a reminder of the BEFORE pics (so you can see which lighting we had before):
Hard to look at these before pics, but the kids are cute 🙂
This was my INSPIRATION photo (pic from Serena & Lily of a similar light that they carry):
Progress pic of our painter and electrician during the installation.. (we were having our spindles painted at the same time as the chandelier install, so here’s a little peek at that too!). Thank you guys!!
Here’s a couple AFTER shot of the lights~
I also posted an Instagram reel if you want to see a video of how they look 🙂
Thank you again for following along for this year’s One Room Challenge!!
And thank you to Crystorama for the gorgeous new lighting! Updating these two fixtures has made the biggest difference ~🤩
