Nursery Inspiration – White Walls

I’ve been thinking about what kind of nursery I want for the baby and leaning towards something crisp and bright. The first thing we’ll be doing is painting!

I’m leaning towards all white walls with accent colors that can easily be changed. These inspiration pictures of light and bright white walls are so convincing. A lot of different textures, patterns and new light fixture are also on the wish list!

We’ll also be wallpapering one wall too. It seems like this is what everyone is doing in kids rooms these days and I love it. I’m not sure if we will use wallpaper in the nursery or Taylor and Kinzie’s new room but I’m currently sourcing some beautiful prints. Stay tuned!

This wall color is a light gray which I love too! It’s called SW First Star and it appears to be a lightened version of it. Image via Project Nursery

Love the wallpaper accent wall! It’s still bright and cozy. I also had this light fixture in my shopping cart at IKEA last visit. I ended up changing my mind then but thinking about going back for it? It’s so fun and only $59.99. Image via Ruffled Blog.

This rug softens up the entire room. I just love the pink dresser too! Image via Project Nursery by the Posh Home.

Another common theme with all these pictures? Tan and creme colored accents. Rattan, wicker and woods. All so cozy!

The walls in the nursery to-be are currently light blue. This is the color they were when we moved in and it’s a nice blue, just a little plain. What do you think? White walls, wallpaper or another color?
