Easy Birthday Dessert!

We celebrated Eric’s birthday yesterday and I had to share the cutest little cakes we whipped up for him. The best part? The serving sizes are guilt free and small enough so the kids could have 2 and still go to bed on time 🙂

These were so easy to make and would be great for birthdays, parties or just for fun! I snapped a few pics and will share sources and recipes below too.

Enjoy!

What You’ll Need:

  • Cake Mix – We used Betty Crocker’s Angel Food Confetti mix, but any cake mix will work. Confetti cake is just a little more festive 🙂
  • Frosting – Homemade frosting recipe here. I warmed it up for 10 seconds so it applied easily to the cake.
  • Sprinkles!
  • Happy Birthday letter candles. You could use other letters to spell words for different celebrations. Think names,  holidays. etc.
  • Baking Cups – We love these from Simply Baked. You can find these and many more adorable prints on Amazon!

Note: Only fill the cups half way!

I’ve been on a baking kick lately and promise to share some of the good things! This is one of them 🙂 Another good thing, this hat that I’ve been wearing all fall is on sale for less than $10!

Had to include one of the birthday boy 🙂

Happy celebrations!
