DIY Mini Colorblock Vases

I made these vases over the weekend and they turned out too cute not to share! They were also so easy and quick to DIY. You may even have most supplies on hand.

The inspiration came from these colorblock vases that Serena & Lily and Etu Home carry. Those are in a larger size and you can follow the same steps here with larger vases too!

I also love to reuse things and had just finished a jar of Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel seasoning. Which, by the way, is soooo worth the hype if you haven’t tried it yet. I’ve been cutting carbs lately & this has been a go-to seasoning on everything from chicken, eggs, to bell peppers. Any old glass spice jar will work though for these vases 🙂

I plan to make more of these DIY vases as I go through old spice jars. You may be seeing them pop up in photos here and there!

They are great for party decor, tablescapes or just to add to any accent tables.

Supply List:

Instructions:

Peel label off. I run the bottle under water and use a stainless steel scrub to make it easier.

Tape around the vase with the painters tape. You can decide how much you’d like to paint but I think they look best if you cover the bottom third with paint.

Spray the bottom. It’s OK if it doesn’t look perfect .Mine dripped a little but it doesn’t bother me! You can give it another coat if you’d like to even things out.

Let dry then peel tape off. Add a little water and your favorite florals 🙂
