I’m joining the @betterhomesandgardens One Room

I’m joining the @betterhomesandgardens One Room Challenge (ORC) this year for the first time!! ✨ It has been a goal of mine for years to participate so I’m especially excited to finally sign up. The @oneroomchallenge is an 8 week event to transform a space and every Thursday I will be sharing new projects on my blog (including a few DIY’s!). I’ve heard how crazy busy and fun this challenge is so I thought, why not join this year?!

I’ll be tackling our living room redesign. Today was a beautiful day, but soooo windy! 💨 My 3 year old asked if it was snowing because all the white flowers on that tree outside were blowing around 😂 I had some luck at the flea market this afternoon & shared favorite shopping tips in stories (highlight saved too). The candlesticks, woven @ralphlaurenhome lamp & table were all resale finds 💙
I love the hunt of finding new places for old things. Mixing old & new and high & low always make for the best spaces ✨

Do you like changing up things in your home? 🙋🏼‍♀️ Sometimes one easy swap is all you need for a quick refresh ✨ I’ve been craving more pattern lately so I’m trying out this blue and white drapery panel (which will need to be hemmed and trained) 💙🤍💙 but I stilll can’t decide if it’s staying or going! Keep it, or stick with the solid white..? YOU decide for me — it’s been a long week 😆 TGIF

Oh and yep, there’s a lot of tape on the floor in case you noticed 😉.. the kids were practicing letters, #’s, making roads etc. It’s been one of the best things to have on hand with little ones. They get creative, and learn ✨ I’ll link the curtains and our 🌈 tape in stories!

Emma always finds the best sunny spots ☀️ I gave our sofa a quick refresh by adding more stuffing to the cushions and a few new pillows (the studio McGee x Target ones have been a fav!) ✨
