Happy New Year all!
We completed this adorable book nook awhile ago for a client in Elmhurst and I realized I never shared it here. This is one space I dream of having in my own home someday so needless to say it was so fun to work on!
This adorable book nook is on the 2nd floor of my clients house near the stairs. I love that she uses it to read stories to her kids and I enjoyed working on the design for it. I definitely had some great bones to work with!
The cowhide rug was an ideal choice for the shape of this space. It adds interest and character to a small space.
A few of my favorite things we added include the wall art, rug and experimenting with organizing the books by color. I’ve started doing this with the kids books at home too (in hopes to keep them organized!).
The accent table is from Anthropologie (they have some very unique pieces for home decor). Another favorite addition we added is the wall decor, from a local shop in Geneva, IL. They are old tin ceiling tiles and add a great texture to the space. Aren’t they neat?
